For the past few years, I've seen how Asian dramas flourished here in my country. I'm pretty sure a lot of you, who are reading this post right now, are into it or just someone who is trying to dive into the world of Asian dramas. Well, if you're a newbie, welcome! A new world awaits you.
I think it all started way back when the classic "Meteor Garden" was produced and shown to the world. Although as far as I know, it is originally from a manga in Japan. From Taiwanese version, it has then started to have different versions from other Asian countries. Some of the popular versions that I know is the "Boys Over Flowers" from South Korea and the "Hana Yori Dango" from Japan.
It was like an eye-opener that there's still something out there; that you can't just be stuck in your local drama because there's a lot of better movies or dramas out there. It's really not because you don't appreciate what your country have but it's more on discovering new things by going out of the box. From then on, I have constantly been curious of not just the different productions but also the culture.
I am personally not a big fan of dramas because some of it are just cliches or half-cooked; however, I can say that I am really picky when it comes to watching drama because I want to watch something that's worthy of my time. I am also interested in knowing more about the culture, even though I ain't into historical dramas; just by seeing something different in the drama than what you used to will certainly knock your curiosity.
And so, I created this blog to help you get an insight or probably a recommendation of Asian dramas that you have to watch. I will update this blog every time I finished a drama or a movie so I hope you can look forward to it. You can also give out suggestions on how to make this blog better.
Disclaimer: I am not a professional but I am merely just an ordinary person who will give out my personal reviews on the dramas that I have watched.
